James is the founder of Con10u2Farms, a low profit social enterprise working to educate the most vulnerable citizens about healthy eating habits. Effie is an active member and leader in the South Sacramento area. She runs a non-profit organization aimed at increasing urban farms and access to nutritious foods so that healthy neighborhoods can grow and thrive. She cultivates moringa among many other vegetables, fruit trees, succulents, and more.

Ron is located in southern California and is applying for New and Beginning farmer grans from state and federal agenices. He and his team plan to grow industrial hemp and moringa alongside intensive and integrative training with US Veterans.

Kaying has been farming in the Central Valley for 10 years. She has been involved in 2 previous CDFA grants and leads the local moringa cooperative within the Hmong community. She sells moringa fruits, leaves, leaf powder, and moringa pollinated honey.
Kala Washington

Kala owned and operated a farm in Marysville, CA. He was a self-taught moringa farmer for this region in California. Kala cultivated other nutritious vegetables and played a vital role in the local community, Kala passed away in 2021 but his legacy, mission and inspriation live on.

Tony is an independant moringa farmer in Imperial Valley, CA and works in the agriculture industry with Jett Harvest Inc. He has been growing, learning, and experimenting with moringa for over 5 years. He has a variety of moringa trees of various sizes, vegetative and fruiting stages.
